Qualifications and Education
Joseph J. Minuta, RA, AIA, NCARB, CACB has experience in the building profession since 1989. He has worked professionally as a Registered Architect, construction observer, engineering technician, draftsman, carpenter and mason. He is a registered architect licensed to practice in 49 states and the District of Columbia, with Alaska registration pending. He is certified by (NCARB) the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and (CACB) the Canadian Architectural Certification Board. Also, his work has been published in national magazines.
Mr. Minuta received a Bachelor of Architecture with Honors from Pratt Institute, New York and has studied architecture abroad. He then went on to become the President & Director of an architectural services subsidiary of a global petroleum provider prior to establishing Minuta Architecture, PLLC. Each project is infused with his vast array of global experience and expertise.
Minuta Architecture, PLLC employs Registered Architects and design professionals who are fully engaged and proficient in the cutting edge architectural and graphic production: Cost efficient 3-D Modeling, Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD), Photographic Rendering and Re-imaging techniques and 3-D modeling to provide our clients with value that sets them apart and expedites their goals.

Community Service
Joseph has served as an adjunct instructor at Orange County Community College; a member of the McQuade Children's Foundation Grounds Committee; N.Y.S. Council on the Arts; the Town of New Windsor Zoning Board of Appeals. He is a recipient of the American Institute of Architects Lecture Series Appreciation Award in 2001 and has been a guest speaker at local high schools and colleges to aspiring architecture students & professionals. His current philanthropy for community service extends to Elant Roommates Committee as a member assisting in the latest improvement techniques of senior care facilities and campaigning for donations to further enhance the facilities; donation of his time and architectural work for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh and the Nora Cronin Presentation Academy; and he served as a member of the Town of New Windsor Planning Board from 2005 to 2007.

As a professional design firm, we focus on the overall harmony of your space so that all your interiors reflect your good taste enhanced by our professional expertise.
We can help you save up to 40% off retail store costs on furnishings, fixtures and equipment. Many furniture stores offer "free" design services, but often this cost is built into the cost of your purchase. "Free" designers may also be focusing on their commission rather than their needs when making recommendations.
Part of what makes us unique is that our Interior Designers are formally educated, degreed in Interior Design an New York State Registered allowing them to hold the title of Certified Interior Designer. Our designers are also professional members of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). Working in direct conjunction with the Architect, your project receives a higher level of professionalism and inherent understanding.
This process affixes elements of your project for permitting and construction in the form of drawings, specifications and other documentation. Plans are Signed and Sealed by a New York State Registered Architect (RA) as required by law. These plans meet or exceed the requirements of the New York State Building Code and other local municipal codes that may apply.
These plans are submitted to the AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) for their approval. Once a permit is received the project can commence.

Incremental project reports are generated by our professional staff and issued to the Owner and Contractor for information and possible corrective measures. It is a way to feel the pulse of your project without having to be there everyday yourself to know that it is on schedule, on budget and that discovered items are dealt with swiftly and professionally.
